Counseling
It is incredibly brave and the ultimate act of self-care to reach out for support during a challenging season in your life or when seeking to make meaningful change. I’m so grateful that you have found your way here and are considering investing in yourself.
I view counseling as a collaborative process where, together, we co-create an experience that feels deeply meaningful to you and is tailored to your unique needs + goals. Throughout our time together, my greatest intention is that you feel deeply cared for and supported.
Counseling can help when...
you are looking to gain a better understanding of yourself, your values and your goals
you are in the midst of a challenging transition, including navigating grief or loss of any kind
you are overwhelmed by social, academic, and societal expectations
you would like to learn new ways to cope with stress and anxiety
you would like to establish or deepen a mindfulness or self-compassion practice
Sessions are…
Held virtually, over secure video using a private and secure client portal, on either a weekly or bi-weekly basis. In between our time together, you will have access to a client resource center with a growing number of supportive resources that you are welcome to access as you wish.
$200 USD for a 50-minute session

A Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) is a school psychologist who has completed additional clinical supervision to enhance their skills in working with individuals, educational institutions, and families.
It is important to understand that an Educational Psychologist does not treat mental disorders as defined by the American Psychological Association and therefore does not provide diagnostic information related to the Diagnostic Statistic Manual - Fifth Edition (DSM-5).
Instead, Educational Psychologist's use data-based decision making and evidenced-based interventions to improve individuals' mental health and well being, and to promote learning and utilization of new skills.

At this time, Educational Psychologists, unfortunately, don't have vendorship with insurance companies and cannot accept insurance. That being said, if you participate in an HSA or FSA, many clients have found success utilizing those benefits.
If you are looking for suport that is covered by your insurance, I encourage you to connect with a provider who is in-network with your insurance plan. You can find these providers by:
1) Calling your insurance and ask for a list of in-network mental health providers.
(2) Visiting Zencare.co or PsychologyToday.com and filtering your search for providers that accept your insurance.
(3) Considering other lower-fee counseling resources, such as Open Path Collective.

Yes, I reserve several spots within my practice for both current clients who are experiencing a financial hardship and for new clients, in which counseling would otherwise be inaccessible.
Reduced rates are discussed and determined on an individual basis and are subject to reassessment as often as every 3 to 6 months or when your financial circumstance changes.
