Coaching

In my coaching practice, I partner with women who are navigating the challenges of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and high-functioning anxiety. Many of my clients appear successful and “put together” on the outside but feel overwhelmed and anxious on the inside. They come to me seeking clarity, support, and guidance to become more authentic, courageous, and balanced versions of themselves.

Every coaching experience is uniquely tailored to meet your specific needs, desires, and goals. Here are some of the topics we might explore together:

Coaching Can Help When...

  • You're ready to break free from the cycle of perfectionism
Learn to embrace your imperfections and find joy in the process rather than constantly striving for an unattainable ideal.

  • You want to set healthy boundaries
Discover how to say no without guilt and prioritize your own needs, reducing the stress of people-pleasing.

  • You're seeking tools to manage high-functioning anxiety
Develop practical strategies to cope with anxiety while maintaining your productivity and peace of mind.

  • You need support during significant life transitions
Whether it's a career change, relationship shift, or personal growth journey, navigate these changes with confidence and clarity.

  • You desire a deeper connection with yourself
Engage in practices that help you reconnect with your inner self, fostering self-love and acceptance.

  • You're looking to enhance your emotional resilience
Build the strength to bounce back from setbacks and handle life's challenges with grace and composure.

  • You wish to cultivate a mindset of self-compassion
Learn to treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you offer to others, reducing self-criticism.

  • You aim to live a more balanced and fulfilling life
Create a lifestyle that honors your well-being, aligning your daily habits with your values and passions.

Together, we’ll work to break free from the cycle of perfectionism, reduce the need to please others at the expense of your own well-being, and address the underlying anxiety that drives these behaviors. My goal is to support you in creating a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and joyfully imperfect.

 FAQs

  • This is such an important question, as there is often an overlap between the two.

Therapy or counseling is typically the best source of support for people who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties that are getting in the way of their day-to-day life + functioning. Therapist are trained to diagnose and treat mental illnesses, which equip them with the skills and techniques needed to address and improve client symptoms.

Coaches on the other hand, while they may have a background in mental health or as a therapist, do not treat or diagnose mental illnesses. Instead, they support mental wellness through holding space for self-exploration and helping clients learn skills + resources for relating to their emotional experiences, making changes to particular aspects of their lives, and when seeking growth into more courageous + authentic versions of themselves.

  • While coaching is often a therapeutic experience for many people, it is not therapy and will not be covered by your health insurance or HSA.

If you are looking for suport that is covered by your insurance, I encourage you to connect with a provider who is in-network with your insurance plan. You can find these providers by:

    1) Calling your insurance and ask for a list of in-network mental health providers.

    (2) Visiting Zencare.co or PsychologyToday.com and filtering your search for providers that accept your insurance.

    (3) Considering other lower-fee counseling resources, such as Open Path Collective.
